Typical responsibilities include loading and unloading items, carrying packages to and from the vehicle, verifying delivery details, organizing stops, and helping secure freight so it remains in good condition during transit. The role may also involve communicating with customers in a professional way, reporting delivery issues, and keeping the truck area orderly. Baseline qualifications generally include the ability to follow directions, work well as part of a team, read simple route or delivery information, and maintain reliable attendance. Prior warehouse, moving, or delivery experience can be helpful. Physical demands commonly include repeated lifting, bending, climbing in and out of a truck, and standing or walking for much of the shift. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include early mornings, daytime hours, or occasional weekends.
