Key Responsibilities

The Front-End Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the client-side of web applications, translating UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces. This role bridges the gap between design and engineering, ensuring that visual concepts are implemented with clean, maintainable code and a strong focus on user experience. The Front-End Engineer collaborates closely with back-end engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, accessible, and scalable web experiences.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Translate Figma /design mockups into clean, reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / TypeScript code.
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies, and asset optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests for front-end components.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web accessibility standards ( WCAG ).
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to provide technical feasibility input and iterate on designs.
• Stay current with front-end ecosystem developments and contribute to technical standards.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional front-end engineering experience.
• Proficiency in HTML5 , CSS3 , and JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript .
• Experience with a modern front-end framework ( React , Vue.js , or Angular ).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL .
• Familiarity with version control ( Git ) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong eye for UI detail and commitment to delivering polished user experiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js for server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).
• Familiarity with state management libraries ( Redux , Zustand , Pinia , or similar).
• Experience with testing frameworks ( Jest , React Testing Library , Cypress , or similar).
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals .
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma or Storybook .
